When choosing a necessary packaging material for snack products the low moisture content in the product, high fat content, high susceptibility to foreign smell should be taken into account.
Fats are easily exposed to oxygen, which leads to a “rancid” product.
Packaging materials for such products must have high barrier properties, therefore, as a rule, laminated structures consisting of two or more layers of films are used.
